Annapurna Base Camp Trek: Nayapul, Ghorepani, Poon Hill, Ghandruk, Chomrong, ABC is a 68.8 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Bhuktangle, Gandaki Pradesh, Nepal that features a waterfall and is only recommended for very experienced adventurers. The trail is primarily used for hiking, camping, nature trips, and backpacking and is best used from September until November.
Completed this amazing trek back in September of 2018, we went in a prime time between the monsoon season. Breathtakingly beautiful views, surreal experience. The tea houses and little "towns" you pass through are one of the most memorable parts of the trek. You will make friends with the locals and learn more about yourself in a few weeks than you thought you could. The physical effort for this trek is challenging, to say the least, but worth every step. Fun tip: The city of Pokhara below the trek is an experience in of itself, paragliding is a must and get a tattoo if you can- check out Anands tattoo shop!!
