This small mountain is located in Tizatlan where it was one of the four territories that formed the Tlaxcala region. The trail begins on a street near the church built by the Spaniards on an old tlaxcalan settlement. The interesting thing about this trail, besides knowing the church, the small arqueological site and the Tizatlan history, is to climb the mountain early in the morning and contemplate the sunrise that start to illuminate the La Malinche Volcano, and on the opposite side the Iztaccihuatl and Popocatepetl volcanoes, a beautiful landscape!

We started this trail on the street near the church were we parked the car. The interesting thing about this walk is contemplate the sunrise and see the Malinche, Iztaccihuatl and Popocatepetl volcanoes when the sun illuminates them, also visit the church and the small archaeological site.
