The Cascada de Tamasopo is another beautiful amusement place in the Huasteca Potosina with several waterfalls and natural pools. It is located near the town of Tamasopo and also near of the Puente de Dios. The trail starts at Paso Ancho, the same point where the trail to Puente de Dios starts (21.93750, -99.40635). You will walk by the dirty road, enjoying the fascinating views of the river, the mountains and the countryside, the landscape is fascinating! You can drive or bike if you want, but if you walk and stop for moments to contemplate the amazing vistas, it will be a more pleasant experience. In 1.6 miles you will arrive to the entrance of the Cascada de Tamasopo, visit this place and enjoy the beautiful waterfalls, swim if you want in one of the natural pools and if you dare to jump in to the pool you will surely love it. You can finish your walk here or you can return by the same road until the entrance of Paso Ancho where you started. Maybe you will probably say that on your return you will see the same places, but seeing them from another direction you will enjoy a beautiful and different landscape.

I decided to walk better than drive on this incredible road contemplating the beautiful landscape full of plants and trees. The countryside, the waterfalls and the pools are a fascinating natural beauty, I really enjoyed this incredible place. I will definitely come back again.
