Bonita vista, los escalones pueden ser un poco cansado si no tienes condición, tiene areas de descanso, vale la pena subir

Exhilarating hike. The too map ends before the site entrance which adds 300 feet elevation gain through metal and rock steps. Closer to 1.6 miles each way.

Incline the whole way up, made up of stair-like rocks. Lots of shade. Trail gets really busy on weekends. Views at the top are neat! Description here says dogs are allowed but it seems that’s changed - no dogs allowed as of today, 2/8/2020 (there’s security who checks before you start trail).

second time hiking to the top where the pyramid is. Make sure you bring cash and plenty of water . Wear comfortable clothes and shoes it seems alot longer then 1.5 miles some areas are very steep be ready to walk up alot of stairs . it's not the easiest hike but the views make it all worth it .

Shaded but be ready for a lot of steps. Get here early to avoid the crowds. Trail etiquette seems to be nonexistent. Cool temple at the top.

Very steep. Pretty easy to climb because it has stairs almost all the way. Gets very crowded after noon. The best time to go is before 9am.

excelente caminata y si se hace del poblado de San Juan tlacotenco, haces bosque, vas por el camino antiguo de San Juan a Tepoztlan pirámide y bajas el zócalo es excelente la caminata

I would say that is a little more difficult than moderate when it’s wet after a good rain. Rocks and steps are very slippery.. I would not recommend hiking it with children under the age of 8 yrs of age.

Beautiful hike lots of steps, staircase. Recommend trail runners (I was wearing my regular Nike) Beautiful views along the trail but super amazing at the top. Views were so beautiful I stayed up there for 2-3 hours. Hard on the knees going down so I recommend going slow. Slippery at some points. Ate at one of the food stands at the end and walked to my Airbnb. Can’t wait to go back.

always star as early as possible if is the weekend it gets super crowded . The hike it self is kind of stiff but once you get a pace is really easy the way down is a whole different deal .Is a short hike and not a lot off views but a lot of green. Once you are up there the view is awesome and you get to rest at an arqueológicas site that makes you wonder how it got there on the 1st place .last part is a metal stairway kind of slippery because of the moisture so no rock climbing dog friendly kid friendly hippy friendly . Great town and great food wait for you once you come down

Great grunt to old temple. Temple is nice but the views trump ruins. a very popular local hike, free on Sundays with hundreds of people on trail. Get to the top before 9 and it will be ok. Runners are fine an urban trail cemented stairs for about half the hike. 45 minutes up, 30 down. if you go in afternoon it will be too crowed to enjoy.
