Wonderful trek along the river and becoming less populated the farther in. Sightings of domestic horses, cows and chickens with chicks and lots of noisy parrots and paraqueets in February. Rutted road and rocky in some places. We hiked in river sandals. The main bridge was taken out by a terrible flood late last year, a temporary footbridge is in it’s place.

I only did the part from where the boat dropped me off on the beach then through the town (which I now know is the outskirts of town based on the map on AllTrails) and up to the waterfall on a very cool, meandering, paved pathway. It was a very unique and extremely cool hike/walk.
