Lots of shade. It was dry when we hiked so some steep spots were a bit slippery with lose dirt and gravel.

Really nice hike above Ajijic. Get to the waterfalls in October. Absolutely serene!

Gorgeous views, defined trail, lots of turn offs. Dog friendly trail with some difficult free hands spots. Keep an eye out for the cows and their droppings.

Up and up for the first half, despite having map we took quite a few wrong turns, definitely need proper shoes, coming down nice steams and small waterfall - big enough to splash but now swim in. Lots of shade.

I'd rate this trail as difficult. Take lots of water, especially during the summer season. Great sights.
