Much of the trail requires ropes, is unmarked, and bouldering is required. Bring sunscreen and bug spray. Definitely wear gloves as the rocks get VERY hot in the summer. Watch out for rattlers. The waterfall and scenic views are totally worth the work you put in!

My advise: don't walk this route! Walked this route yesterdag clockcounterwise. Until 4.0km the route is great. At the 4.0km point the climbing begins. There is actually no path, so you have to climb on a dirt hill. It's dangerous because of the rocks that will fall, it's very steep and you don't know were to go. A lot of the comments below and the recordings are mistaken this route with an other El Salto route

Beautiful! A bit wet and slippery at some points but manageable. Great time for adults and teens. There was a nice amount of water at the falls!

This is one of my favorite hikes in Baja but definitely should be rated as difficult, not moderate. Much of the trail requires ropes, is unmarked, and bouldering is required. Bring sunscreen and bug spray. Definitely wear gloves as the rocks get VERY hot in the summer. Watch out for rattlers. The waterfall and scenic views are totally worth the work you put in!

I don't think this place is "moderate" but HARD especially when you jump in when you start going down need to have good condition since your legs start shaking BAD, good place we r doing it next week this time during the night
