Gotta be careful of moving vehicles and stay on the side. Really steep and it was one workout session. At the top it's rather crowded. Since trail is very steep, gotta walk backwards at some point when coming back or you can walk zig-zag to prevent knees from hurting.

A big no. There are several other excellent ways up to Penang Hill but this is not one of them. Hike up on an asphalt road with Hilux vehicles passing... not my kind of 'hike'
