Alternate Arashan is a 21.6 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Ak-Suu, Ysyk-Köl, Kyrgyzstan that features hot springs and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, camping, and backpacking and is best used from June until October.

An easy-going overnight trek with views of everything from Karakol town and Issyk-Kul Lake to the Karakol Gorge. As you ascend, the drama increases with Przewalski Peak, views of the Tian Shan range, and an overnight near Altyn Arashan hot springs. This trek also makes for an excellent alternate exit from a hike to Ala-Kol Lake.
