To get to the trailhead, take the JR Chuo line to Fujino station. From there, you can get a taxi to the trailhead. The trail itself is very well maintained, and is mainly dirt paths with some wooden stairs on the steeper inclines. At the end of the trail, there is a cable car that will take you back down the mountain to a train station. The hike take at least 8 hours to complete, so pack accordingly. Although it may be long, the vistas along the trail are well worth it.
