Easy out and back hike with iconic pagoda and great Fuji-views. Start at Shimoyoshida station and follow the well signed way to Chureito Pagoda. After that the crowds did in my case vanish. It follows a moderately steep but short hike to Arakurayama summit where you have great view on Fuji. The Alltrails marked trail ends about 400m or 5min before the actual spot. So after reaching end of Alltrails marked trail just keep on walking straight for a couple of minutes and you will be rewarded with great views on Fuji. A sign told that from there it is possible to hike on to Mitsutouge (probably via Shimoyama). Didnt do it but in case you are early enough and want a more upper medium hike, take the next 500m of elevation and make your way to Mitsutouge. Way down to Mitsutouge station is very steep though. There is also a hut on MItsutouge peak just in case. The hike mapped here is just out and back version without this extension.
