An absolutely stunning hike and the lake is well worth the climb. As people have mentioned, it is a little tricky in a couple places but my 3 kids (14, 12, & 6) made it. We got there early and took our time.

Randonnée tranquille avec quelques passages plus délicats mais le paysage à l arrivée en vaut la peine. Ps nous avons pris le sentier 216 pour revenir au point de depart. Warning : sentier pour avertis

A wonderful trail. If you are afraid of heights be cautious. Two different garmins almost 8 miles round trip. There are several tricky spots with cables in the mountains. Glad we went in the morning. Some spots on the trial is only big enough for one person. Check the weather. This trail could be extremely hazardous in rain. Meaning you slip and you fall off the cliff. The only disappointed was the lake was pretty much dried up. But still some amazing views. Did this in mid October

Amazing hike. The lake at the top is totally worth the climb, the colours are really something special. There are a few areas that are quite narrow and wet that you should take extra caution on, but nothing too scary if you go slowly. Spectacular views and a fantastic day.

Randonnée avec des passages assez compliqués mais les points de vue sont incroyables ! Une fois arrivés au lac, on se dit vraiment qu’on l’a mérité.. le lac est splendide !!!

I found this hike to be pretty intense at spots. I wouldn't recommend it for someone with minimal hiking experience. There were a few points that required very careful steps with the right shoes, crossing streams and steep points. I only made it about 3/4 of the way before deciding to turn around. Also be aware that it often rains in the afternoon (I hiked it at the end of August), which can affect this hike. That being said, this hike had great views. I did Tre Cime the next day and enjoyed it much more than this one.

Je recommande de faire cette randonnée tôt le matin car le sentier est très fréquenté.

Well.... It took us two hours to go up to the lake and almost 2 hours to come down to the car we parked on the road near Passo Tre Croci. If you you have children younger than 10, it is not advisable. It is almost a ferrata. If you know it will rain or it’s a windy day, do not do it. The lake is beautiful but the path is a bit risky in many spots at the top, 30 minutes before the arrival. Don’t forget to start this hike really early, 8am if possible so you will avoid the river of people coming and going....

c'est probablement la plus belle des promenades, pas particulièrement dure, quelques passages plus compliqués, mais quel paysage dans ces passages

Oh man, what a trail! So diversified, with narrow winding trails, chains, steps, tricky points.. and those views! Not only the lake, but also steep walls and deep rifts on the way, really breathtaking. It's a one amazing, adventurous hike, and not very exhausting. It can be challenging, but we highly recommend it to everyone. On our way, we would meet little children with asthma, small puppies, people with fear of heights, with orthopedic collars.. if they can do it so can you! But seriously, better come prepared and with good shoes. Check the weather forecast, especially if you consider taking kids with you. It gets super slippery after the rain! Also, make sure to mind the wildlife & other people; do not litter or shout like an idiot when you're there - it's amazing how dumb some tourists are when out in the nature...

The view at the end of (and along) this trail is amazing. There are a few tricky spots where there are cables or there have been stairs installed. I would totally recommend this to anyone, it’s stunning. End of June there were only a few spots where snow was on the trail.

Perfect. A challenging trail but the path is clearly marked and the mountain views are beautiful. A spectacular alpine landscape and the lake at the top is well worth the climb.

Wow what a beautiful hike! The hotel staff had us nervous after advising against doing this trail. Although there was a little snow at the top we were easily able to climb up without proper shoes. The lake was a bit frozen over but the view was stunning. Highly recommend.
