An old reclamation of about 1000 hectares protected today with a ban on construction or temporary stay. A disputed land-firm reality removed from the swamps today is dedicated to the spontaneous reproduction of species, avian and ground. Upstream and at the sides it is surrounded by marsh or canals obtained from it, to the south by the Adriatic with a natural beach and over 6 km long.
