This loop begins at the panoramic viewpoint of Agerola, Punta San Lazzaro, and leads to the ruins of a wonderful medieval monastery built in the year 1,000. It passes through stretches that envy the Path of the Gods, with views overlooking the Gulf of Amalfi.

Beautiful views and varied terrain ... not for those who are scared of heights!

Great views of Amalfi town on a sunny day. Hike is on the harder side of moderate - there are some decently steep scrambles up rocks where you wouldn't want to fall backwards. It's mostly up and down the entire time. Watch out for local goats that won't move when they're in your way!

Oh boy - I would say this is closer to hard than moderate. Some sections of the trail are very narrow and the drop off in excess of 30 meters. Just be prepared.
