Hiking clockwise day trip through Rifugio Salvin. Way up via a combination of different hiking trails, last of which is No.. 408 near the Rifugio. Way down via a gravel road (open to motor traffic). Rifugio Salvin is a privately owned "Agriturismo" (Farmstay) serving fine homemade food such as fresh pasta, polenta, bread, baked pies and various types of cheese. All strictly homemade on site, goat and cow cheeses from the milk of their free roaming cattle.
