Awesome hike with great views. The ascent is pretty strenuous and is very steep toward the end. We saw our fair share of marmots and ibexes, so keep an eye out for them. We didn't do this all in one go: we hiked to Rifugio Vittorio Sella where we stayed before hiking up Gran Serra the next morning. We ended up in the rifugio for 2 nights, which was great. I recommend at least 1 night there.
