654/5000 An ideal trail in winter on a sunny day. The cold makes it possible to freeze the surface especially in unpaved or grassed sections. The trail is dedicated to the places where Pierpaolo Pasolini (writer and director) lived his youth with many sites described on special plates. Passing through the streets of the town of San Giovanni you can see the tradition still taken care of in the details of the walls made with round and split pebbles ("puddinghe a spacco") and old and reconstructed walls. The pebbles all come from the nearby Tagliamento River. The territory has no water shortage as below the line of the results on the right Tagliamento.
