A large loop that allows you to visit the "trench warfare" scenario held between 1915-1917 or before the "rotta di Caporetto" (Oct. 1917). Almost all the itinerary is on a dirt road and is characterized by the karstic "brecciola", so it is necessary to look where you step. The vegetation is lush. Italian and Austrian trenches, tunnels, depots and other military logistics infrastructures can be seen along the way. In San Martino, there is also a small museum of the First World War and specifically dedicated to the scenario of Monte San Michele.
