The ring of M.te Lubia and M. Vogu [together with the M.ti Bernadia, the Mia and the Matajur are the only limestone ellipsoids of the Prelpi Giulie] is (should) developed by Sent. CAI 753 departing and arriving at Montefosca. In truth the ring stops near the summit of Mt Vogu because the RAFVG Commission - CAI have decided to divest the second part also for real difficulties. Unfortunately they only highlighted it on arrival (see photo) committing a HUGE LACK and endangering hikers not up to the actual difficulties on the course. It starts from the Latteria di Montefosca and following the sign CAI753, for a private concrete stairway up to the last dwelling, you reach the beginning of a cobbled path that in 300 meters leads to a paved road (door to Fracadizze) not marked on AllTrails. Follow it for about 300 meters and on the right there are two signs CAI 753 and 744; take the path on phono rocks to the exit on a dirt road closed to traffic (LR 15/1991). Take it to the right and follow it for about 3 km until a fork: on the left it leads to Mount Lubia on the right to Mount Vogu. Once in Mount Vogu or in the vicinity, the bichromatic signals of the CAI become faded, sparse and / or missing. For a mule track with a double or mahogany but completely grassed path, continue slightly downhill to a talus of really dangerous calcareous boulders (see photo); in fact among them the formation of foliage bridges cover deep holes. Passed with unexpected difficulty, you follow paths crossed by sedentary and not "flat foot" fauna, covered by slippery foliage. For three or four sections maximum mountaineering safety is required. For a channel that can hardly be guessed, we come to ancient terrazzamneti that herald a human settlement of the past with a ruined stavolo, a stable and also a well. Always following the route you can barely see, you reach the back of the northernmost house of Montefosca. The second part is NOT RECOMMENDED due to objective dangers.
