A long hike starting from Hannibal's Nautica station, following the whole bank of Marina Julia beach and then passing over the banks of the Quarantia Channel which doubles the tribute to the Isonzo river in case of flooding. In fact, arriving at the Didactic Museum of the Regional Nature Reserve of the Foce del Fiume Isonzo, you can visit the two longitudinal hydraulic spillways of the Isonzo that, at the maximum expected height, the excess in the Quarantia Canal spills. You cross the entire reclamation of the Brancolo which takes the name of the water course of the same name that was started in 1926 and finished in 1938 giving back about 2000 hectares of very fertile lands due to the high humic content accumulated over millennia.
