Description
Waypoints (4)

Beautiful excursion that starts from San Benedetto in Alpe and goes up the Cai 409 path on the right side of the Acquacheta stream. Rather gradual climb at the beginning and then more and more steeply; the last section with trunks. You arrive at Monte del Prato Andreaccio. From here follow Cai 409 (towards Dx), pass M.di Londa and then begin to descend towards the Romiti. Here you will find panoramic views and the beautiful Acquacheta waterfall. Go around the ruined hermitage and then descend to cai 409 up to San Benedetto. A well-maintained and steep path, the first section has large steps, and the second is more gradual. Some short uphill stretches immediately followed by descent or flat sections.

Good, but not exceptional. Avoid in late summer, since it’s highly frequented. Will try again in autumn or spring.
