Montare Camicia is a 5.2 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Castel del Monte, Abruzzo, Italy that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from March until November.
October 17, 2020Hiked in October with my dog. Wore pants and wool and gore Tex. Would have made it to the top but I didn’t have the right shoes which I got in the mail yesterday. Oh well. Had fun but steep downhill. Glad I brought ski poles.
September 29, 2020One word: Breathtaking. The walk itself for sure, but also the surrounding area and the ride up there. A little slippery higher up due to some snowfall at the end of september.
August 20, 2020Challenging hike with steep rocky inclines on the way up. Rewarding views and panoramas at the top though! The way down is smoother and more gentle, so be sure to complete the loop in the direction indicated on the app.

July 3, 2020The trail in the app actually deviates from the trail in one spot in the valley. To avoid going off piste in tall steep grass follow the dotted line trail seen on the map. Not the track recorded.
