If your time is limited but you still want to walk a little and to get acquainted with the desert´s cultural history – this is the hike for you. It is short and easy and intriguing. It comprises of two parts - the park and the village. The park presents a collection of images carved over history in black rocks. These petroglyphs are ancient (and some contemporary) impressions of the way of life and the animals of the desert over time. From the park a short path leads to the neighbouring Bedouin village. An accommodation-tent in the very end of the village offers food and drinks and tales about the Bedouin in the past and the present. After a good story and a strong coffee you can quickly go back to your car, or maybe better do it slowly and earn another glimpse of the desert´s glory. If you feel like spending more time in the area, the accommodation-tent´s owner will be happy to show you around, and if disponible may introduce you to traditional handicrafts or bring you along with the flock for a grazing at the pasture. This hike is short enough to walk with ease in any season of the year.
