It's an amazing trail. You pass through so many different types of terrain and areas. You go from desert to beach, city to hills, forests to mountains. It's incredibly well-marked and the upkeep is excellent. Trail angels can provide beds to sleep if you wash some dishes, and people are very friendly on the trail. The highlights are definitely Makhtesh Ramon and the Sea of Galilee. It will take you time. Budget around a month or two just to be safe. Don't forget to pack a bathing suit!
