Jun 17, 2017 - The Hula Valley is an agricultural region in northern Israel. It is a major stopover for birds migrating along the Syrian-African Rift Valley between Africa, Europe, and Asia. An estimated 500 million migrating birds now pass through the Hula Valley every year. In the summer, there aren't nearly as many species around as the Spring/Fall, but this also means that the tourists are minimal. We had the place pretty much to ourselves and had a great time photographing many new (to us) species.
