Part of the Dublin Mountains Way. Park hours vary by season: check the Coillte website (link below). Most of the track is on closed forest roads but crosses the road to a gravel path that starts behind Zipit Forest Adventures. This is an out and back trail to the chambered cairn at the peak of Tibradden mountain. If you are interested in Irish history and are willing to brave walking along the R116 you could extend this to a loop by continuing until you meet the Wicklow Way and returning along Pine Forest Rd (R116). Then visit the site of one of Daniel O'Connell's 'monster meetings' in his campaign to repeal the 1801 Act of Union. https://www.coillte.ie/site/cruagh-wood/ https://www.coillte.ie/site/tibradden-wood-pine-forest/ https://www.dublinmountains.ie/dublin_mountains_way/ http://www.wicklowway.com http://www.irishtrails.ie
