Glen of the Downs Loop is a 4 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Greystones, County Wicklow, Ireland that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and nature trips. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The trail way in the app leads you in the middle of the forest in some places, and a lot of the way is off trail. Otherwise it’s a nice hike with some beautiful scenery.

You can access this trail through Delgany opposite the entrance to Kindlestown Wood. Much easier than the N11 entrance…

It's not all bad, but for the horse and doggy business. I also didn't like pulling out from the car park onto the busy main road. The speed limit is reduced through that section but cars still come through over the limit. Not our favourite trail.

Moderate trail to two forests the Kindlestown forest (we just did a small loop there, the trail is much bigger) and Glen of the Downs. Plenty of shade in the forest parts. the way back to greystones is on the road so be careful
