Apparently this walk corresponds with the red arrow walk according to the information board found at the entrance. However, in few instances there were no signs , hence, I relied on the live map to get back to the car park. Beautiful surroundings and pretty easy trail..
Arrived here about 1.5 hrs before dark, unfortunately it was wet however the trail is mostly gravel. It probably would be advised to bring a change of foot wear especially in the rainy season. Overall it's a very scenic and quaint. Also got some good photos. It's very easy and no bother for children.
Lovely to be surrounded by all the gorgeous native trees but the signage is absolutely terrible and if you don't know the route/are busy talking you can get lost very, very easily. It's a real pity. Don't understand why Coillte haven't any decent signage when it's open to the public. I'm not the first person to get lost and I won't be the last. Coillte, please sort it out!
