HikingMuddyRocky

The first part of the walk is up a rock path to the top of Sugarloaf hill. This can be challenging as the rocks are not stable. As we reached the top of Sugarloaf hill the wind picked up and we had to deal with gale force winds all the way to the top of knockmealdown and back. The wind stoped as we reached the rocky path back down of Sugarloaf hill. The ground was good and we got some great views of the surrounding area.

Steep climb. No switchbacks here. Just go up. Very rocky or muddy between rocks. May be a more circuitous route south to the saddle between peaks. Great views!! We even had a rainbow.
