There is a new gate that prohibits access by car but gentleman in the house unlocked and let us through. Beautiful hike one of my favourites with fabulous views of Mt Leinster, Slievnamon and others, not clearly marked - follow signs for the cross.

Not very well marked. Managed to do most of the trail off the marked track. 14km in total but good path most the way! A little wet and muddy near the cross!

Great route for trail running. Nothing too steep or technical. Great views all around!

I enjoyed this walk, will do it again, maybe early morning to catch first light, I didn't allow myself enough time this first time to really enjoy the panoramic views from the summit.
