Note: All of the Gleninchnaquin hikes start in a farmer's private property, so there is a €6 fee to enter. The car park closes entry at 5:30pm. This circular walk is well-marked and provides fantastic views. It is suitable for all skill levels and features some beautiful waterfalls and lake views. Trails are well maintained and the staff are very welcoming. Try having lunch at the top of the waterfall - it is a unique experience. There are many photo opportunities and well placed picnic benches from which you can admire the views. There’s an 8km twisty road to the park that only has room for one car so take your time and be prepared to reverse etc.

Hidden gem. Make sure to visit after a few days of rain as the waterfall will be much nicer to view we did the red trail in about 1 hour it goes up over the waterfall parts are mucky

Nice trail but a bit pricy at 6 euro per person. Trail was easy and you do get some nice views. The road leading to the hike is in poor condition if you are driving.

Please Note: all the Gleninchnaquin hikes start in a farmer's private property and he charges €6 entry. The car park closes entry at 5:30pm too. However the hike/walk was lovely, very picturesque and well marked out. It is quite exposed to wind and rain at high points. But all in all we enjoyed the walk. The drive in is very winding on very narrow roads but a beautiful drive in it's own right. Would recommend.
