was pretty wet and muddy. would recommend bringing spare clothing for when it rains. try to pick a day with good weather because we did it in the rain and didn'r see any views. Overall, the hike was pretty good

A well defined trail straight up. Can be very muddy and expect flowing water on the trail after heavy rain. When you get to the punchbowl you can leave the trail and head for the peak of Mangerton. The day we went up visibility was very poor and we had to use all trails to guide us to the peak. On the way around the lake we also missed a turn which added on more time. Really good hike and will go back on a good day.

Had a perfect weather day, with most magnificent views. Thoroughly enjoyed it, can be challenging especially beginning and end, but doable for moderate fitness.

The view of this trail is fabulous! It took us 4 hours to finish it, not so difficult but the muddy is a little challenging, the trail is absolutely 5 star trail!

unreal views. A bit of a navigational challenge as there are multiple trails that look like they lead somewhere. worth it at the end though. definitely intermediate to experienced hikers only. weather shifts really fast too so be prepared for sunny sections and thick fog in the same hike. ultimately 10/10 for me though. Majestic.
