Completed today second time. Amazing sunset from the top! weather was just perfect. There are warning signs to avoid climbing in case of bad weather. Very safe place.

When we started out, the weather want great but manageable. By the time we were nearing the top, there were wind gusts so strong it nearly blew us off the trail and everything had clouded in. For safety, we ended up having to turn around instead of completing the loop. I’m sure it’s beautiful on a day with good weather, but we didn’t have any such luck. Traveled Sept 2019.

Very well maintained, with great views in every direction. Easy going apart from the last five minutes so very doable for a variety of fitness levels.

Easy trail, you can almost climb this in slippers. Stepping stones and gravel all the way. Beautiful views, even on the lower sections already. Lot of tourists though, although starting at 10am it wasn’t crowded.

Gorgeous views through most of the hike, very windy at the top! Every time I visit Ireland, I make it a point to do this trail, it's lovely!

Amazing hike. We took the upper red trail and it took an hour up and an hour down. Not too strenuous but steep in places. The views are out of this world

I am 50 years old and hiked this trail twice. Once with my 17 year old son (March, 2019) and then with my husband. (September, 2019). It’s my most favorite hike because of the stunning views. The trail gets a bit rocky and steep near the top but it is doable!

Go early! Experiencing this trail in relative solitude was amazing. About 2ish hours with a few stops. Can be windy and a little wet but the views are worth it and the difficulty tops out with some steep stone steps. We enjoyed this very much!

Good views and well kept trail, but the trail's popularity takes away from the experience. We did this mid-day, but wished we had started at sunrise to avoid the crowds.
