This was my first hike and very challenging hike. the steepness makes it unbreathable. Have someone to push you!! Very rocky towards the blue fire. Above all the view of the blue crater is breathtaking. Would love to do it again!!

Recommended to start the hike at approximately 1 to 2 AM, so you have time to see the blue fire by the crater. Sunrise by the rim is also incredibly beautiful. You can go down with the sulfur miners into the crater and pick up some sulfur for you to bring home as a souvenir as well

Steep hike over mostly loose gravel trail. Hard to keep footing. Might be even harder due to fact that it’s started mostly around 2 AM to see the blue fire at the volcano’s crater and afterwards sunrise from crater’s rim.

The blue fire was amazing, hike was smooth but steep until you go into the crater, then it is scrambling down
