Hiking

It was a great little hike. We got lucky with some cooperative weather and the view was amazing! The trail is not marked at all and the first half is a little difficult to follow as there is no defined track. The second half is more defined, but gets challenging heading up the mountain. All in all, it was a fun hike and I would totally recommend it to someone who doesn’t struggle with following the GPS and a map.

Very rewarding hike. make sure you go all the way to the top for some beautiful views. I would then say the hike becomes moderate. The Trial is not marked but there are clear paths and they do seem to connect. Just keep checking your GPS on Alltrials to make sure you are on track. We did it in quite high winds (about 30mph) and maybe not recommended as the small stones whip at the top and be careful not to lose your hat!

This trail starts at the parking area and can be difficult to follow at times as there are no markings. But it offers great views and a very rewarding, if steep, climb at the very end. Keep going upstream and you'll reach the summit of the mountain for some of the best views. Also be sure to check out the waterfall hidden out of sight from the road. You'll see the river flowing from the parking area - just head down and head to the left for a beautiful and secluded falls
