Hike from Hesteyri over the pass to Stakkadalur on Day 1 (possible to continue to Latrar). Set camp at Stakkadalur. Day 2 is a day hike out-n-back to the Radar installation (pack a jacket!). Day 3 is back to Hesteyri over the same route.

Did it as a day hike will waiting for my boat in hesteyri. It's good to have a gps for the pass, but other than that really the way is obvious, especially going up the radar where it follows a road. Expect some river crossing and wet ground.

Hiked Adlavik to the Ruins. Great views although in a cloud with limited visibility; run in with an arctic fox and the ruins were still spectacular. Adlavik to Hesteyri. Tremendous landscapes and views.
