Ingólfsfjall is a mountain that gets its name from Iceland's first settler, Ingólfur Arnarson, and is said to be his final resting place. Nice hike; a bit steep in the beginning but great views. Solitary even in the main tourist season.

Short distance, but a major work to get up. Trail is pretty difficult find and isn’t well marked. The view is incredible though!

We entered the trail beside the quarry. It was a bit too wet, windy, foggy and muddy. Unsure footing, loose rocks and so on. If you go there, watch out for the weather.

Not a terribly difficult climb, but loose rocks made for unsure footing. I would not rate it as "easy" however, closer to a medium because of footing.
