This trail will bring you to the two famous volcanos of the island of Heimaey in Vestmannaeyjar. The first one is Eldfell which is a volcanic cone. This volcano is responsible for his eruption in 1973 that almost destroyed the island and the access to it. The path then joins the inactive volcano of Helgafell.
