Starting at Seltun ( a short distance SW of lake Kleifarvatn) you walk over a small mountain range and down into a valley. You then complete a loop visting lake Djupavatn and then back over the same mountain range. Detour on the way back to visit some geothermal sites, where the ground  constantly emits steam into the air. There is an even bigger site at Seltun.
