Closed because of fire ants about a quarter of a mile up the trail. Still pretty to check out and swim in the water!

A nice, short walk to some small waterfalls & swimming areas. On private property so there are open and closed hours.

Easy walk for most. A lot of the trail is closed due to fire ants. Would be more beautiful (and dangerous) during floods

The hike is short and easy. It has 3 beautiful waterfalls worth coming to see. Great for taking pictures. I would highly recommend checking this hike out.

Surprised at the negative reviews. My wife and I did a guided tour and it was a lot of fun. We swam in the watering holes with the waterfalls (wish the falls would of been more impressive, but still great). The hike itself was fun, easy, and informative!

Local pathway leads to two beautiful pools, both which have swimming & cliff jumping. Guided tours go this way and they try to scare you off by saying you have to pay, but plenty of people funnel in regardless.

Nothing special although you might think otherwise due to the crowds. Upper part doesn’t open till 08:00..... Quickly moving on.

In would not advise this, simple hike, busy, waterfalls meh. If you have the chance, pick another waterfall on this route (to Hana) to visit

Private land with food truck and chemical Katrina’s at/near the trailhead. Trail / road was closed 0.2 miles from the trailhead. It rained last night, but not that hard.

It's a very easy hike. Beautiful scenery, some bamboo tree areas, lovely coloured flowers. Beyond the big gate there is a small water flow to cross, but nothing complicated. The TwinFalls are nice as well, not spectacular, but worth a small walk towards them. Bring towels, sunscreen (although you can also find shade) and some slippers if your feet get wet

They conveniently have a food stand before you enter. This is a stroller friendly walk. This is not a hike. Disappointed. Feels like a half a mile walk from the car.

We only hiked a quarter up the trail up to the point where there is a big gate warning of all the dangers up ahead and staying it’s about a 30 minute hike from there. To the left of that gate is a beautiful swim area with two small waterfalls.

Easy, well manicured path through wildflowera and private farmland. Two small dimmable swimmable falls are near the parking lot with awesome Banyan trees growing on and around the falls. Hike for 20-30 minutes past a gate that says "experienced hikers only" to get to a much more private tall waterfall with cave behind it. This gate probably stops 75% of people from going to the last fall and involves two stream crossings that were very shallow when we visited. There is an optional side trail to get you to the too of the waterfall that we did not do. Standing on too of the waterfall is where I imagine the fatalities occur.

I would consider this an easy hike - really a road more than a trail for most of it. Private property just means they would like donations to support the toilets they provide so bring some cash. And respect the farm by staying on the main road. As the other reviewer mentioned YES go past the gate with the big warning sign that only experienced hikers should pass. It was still very easy past there and the pool and waterfall at the end were well worth it!

This trail is on the road to Hana. Not really anything special or difficult for the most part but there was an accident yesterday that resulted in a fatality. Not clear on exactly what happened. This trail might be more appealing when there has been more rain and the falls have more volume.

I have to give this a five star rating due to the first waterfall having an awesome and fun 10 foot opportunity to jump off into deep water next to waterfall which was so much fun and exactly what I wanted to do in Maui at least once. The second waterfall and the larger of the two was pretty, but it was very crowded with young local kids. Good for them! But that didn’t make me want to stay long since it was sort of a party atmosphere, not as relaxing. The trail was easy to hike in my opinion, and the water levels were down, so crossing the river was a breeze. I hiked this five days ago.
