HikingGreat!

You definitely need socks & shoes, but a nice trail to the blowhole. We really enjoyed watching the forces of nature at work here! Traveled March 2018.

The trail is steep and rocky in quite a bit of places, so make sure you are wearing good shoes. The blowhole is mesmerizing to watch and you never quite know when it’s going to spit out a lot of water, so be sure to stand back as you wouldn’t want to get sucked in. Cool site and worth the short hike. Lots of foot traffic, it’s a pretty popular spot. We actually weren’t sure what it was when we stopped.

The blowhole is pretty mesmerizing to watch, and the views of the ocean are amazing. Lots of cool rock formations to check out too. Overall, a pretty awesome sight, and not too difficult to get down to. There are some steep sections, and the foot traffic is pretty heavy here, so I did have to wait off to the side a few times to get back up.

Really cool, but not clearly marked. The trail cuts off and it’s hard to know if your on the right one or not. The blowhole is super cool to see

It’s much better if you approach from the top than the sides. We didn’t walk right down to the blow hole but about half way down you have awesome view of it.

Super windy since this side is directly exposed to the trade winds. Only made it to the sign warning about the dangers of the blowhole, not sure how to get further.

Great little trail. The heart in the rock to the right of the blowhole was vandalized and broken this week. So sad.

Sufficient parking since most people don’t linger that long. Heavily trafficked but not crowded. Very picturesque. Was extremely windy (some sort of eyewear recommended due to blown particulate). Some areas are challenging to negotiate. Please heed posted warnings.

Great hike down and back, was very windy, but footing was pretty solid all the way down. Great hike for kids, with adult guidance.

Easy walk downhill leading to blowhole and lava field. Blowhole is fun to watch and creates momentous rainbow views when water sprays with the wind. Also worth watching are the lava rock formations and heart shaped rock for photo opp. Keep caution with footings on the rocks.

Short descent of 0.3 miles down to get closer to the blowhole. Use proper hiking shoes, and not flip flops. Amazing views, particularly of the blowhole once you get down.

This really isn't a trail, but a rocky descent to the blowhole. Amazing views from all over, especially with the blowhole and natural sea wall. Highly recommend wearing sneakers or hiking shoes.
