Trail gone. No way to get to the bottom of the falls like back in the 1970s. Hazardous. No trail. Closed. KAPU. , the kahuna gonna take your ala alas. Slippery. Muddy. Don’t do it. Stop. Turn back. So many other beautiful things to see on Kauai.

This trail has been closed, it was only accessible through a farmers private property. There was some lawsuits from people getting injured and killed on jumping from the falls, so theres a big fence and no where to park now. More info available with a quick google search. We drove down to try to find it, theres no way to get there whatsoever. Bummer.

This is probably one of, if not the coolest place on Kauai. The "hike" is very simple. Find the trail head and walk the very short distance to the falls. Do to the location of parking, I don't recommend leaving any belongings visible in your car. There are many break-ins. This is very much a locals spot. You can jump off the waterfall into the giant (very deep) pool of water below. The falls are about 25 feet tall, with a rope swing at the other end about 35 feet off the water.
