This is just a walk around the lighthouse, not a hike. Many sea birds nesting, beautiful ocean views. I was happy to pay $10 to help the country to maintain this wildlife refuge.

Short walk, not a hike. If you like birds you’ll like it otherwise it’s not worth the $10 per person admission fee.

Nice walk (not really a hike) lots of information to read. We saw many of the birds and chicks. My kids did the Jr Ranger Program while we were here so they each got a badge. I do wish that we could actually go inside of the Lighthouse, but I’m sure the generation before us spoiled that privilege.
Not a trail just a walk to the lighthouse.
Not a hiking trail. Literally a walk up to see the lighthouse. Some pretty birds on our right and then the lighthouse and a little shop. You have to pay to get in but it keeps the park alive so it’s worth it. Check out the shop for some local artist work.
Not a hiking trail as much as a walk, but awesome wildlife sanctuary with birds nesting inches from the trail and soaring overhead. Beautiful views at the lighthouse. We got lucky to see a huge pod of spinner dolphins in the bay just west of the lighthouse, as well as tons of frigates. Learned lots, nice easy stroll.
Not a trail at all. It is really nice views from the end but not sure it's really worth $10 a person.
Simple Beautiful
Not a hike, but beautiful views. Whale watching and bird watching. Paid entry
Awesome place for a stroll but definitely not a hike at all
Nice views but not a hike!
Not a hike, like others have mentioned- just a short walk on a paved path. Beautiful views though and a tour of the lighthouse is included in the $10 entry fee.
Closed today due to federal budget impasse. Can see lighthouse from gate ~1/4 mile away.
Beautiful view, but gate was closed, so we were unable to go walk up to the lighthouse.
Not really a hike. We watched a rain cloud move in across the water and soak us, it was pretty. lol
Stunning views and worth the entrance fee
It’s more of a walk as others have stated. There is a $10.00 entrance fee. There are times parking can be challenging because it gets crowded. If you can wait it out, the breathtaking views and picturesque background is completely worth the $10.00.
Not a hike. More like a walk through a wildlife refuge. There is great information about local birds, which my kids and family are really into! A lovely stroll. Yes, there is an entrance fee but you are supporting national parks!
Definitely not a trail. $10 per person fee although my national parks access past granted me plus 3 to enter fee free. Nice views except for chain link fence surrounding the point. if you lean up on the fence check for large yellow-black spiders hanging below the rail! Almost grabbed one accidentally.
It was great to see different types of birds in their habitat.
Not really a hike. Just park and walk to the lighthouse. If you like history you will enjoy the lighthouse. Beautiful views
We saw several species of sea birds and a pod of spinner dolphin walking along this trail. Bring your National Park pass or military ID to save on the entrance fee. And definitely bring a long lens...
Very easy walk. Don't forget to bring your National Park pass like I did.
The lighthouse isn't the most impressive thing to see or visit. Not worth the $5 to get in.
Not really a hike. You have to pay $5 to get in and gates close at 4. Pretty views, lots of birds, and we saw some dolphins.
Great view
Only open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm otherwise gate is locked!!!

Amazing views. It costs $5 to walk through but it's worth it. They have binoculars you can use if you'd like. There are a handful of stationary binoculars directed at certain points as well.
Nice easy walk with beautiful views
$5 dollar entry (cash only) Lots of bird and is a beautiful place to visit
