belle arrêt, mais pas vraiment une randonnée !

Not much hiking, just one stairway to top of falls. Paved areas. So beautiful with large areas to roam around and explore.

Very nice, visit the top of the falls via the stairs to the left of the falls.

This is a good trail for families with kids. The walk is easy and well cared for. Popular spot, so if you are looking for some seclusion, you probably won't find it here.

Beautiful Falls... but not much of a ‘hike’.

Super easy walking trail accessible for anyone. Low commitment to see a beautiful natural waterfall and some amazing trees just past the highest point.

This is a great trail to see the waterfall. It is very short and you cannot get close to the waterfall. It is beautiful. Great for kids and dogs.

Totally a must-see attraction to anyone looking for a free activity. The Wailuku River can be extremely dangerous due to flash flooding, so stay out of areas that are closed off, and just have a good time.

The view is great but you can’t really call this a hiking trail. As soon as you park the car 20 ft to the left and that it. 20 ft to the right and that’s it. Great view though.

There is a banyan tree forest behind the lookout above the falls. It's dark in there and feels kind of creepy. Watch your step! Roots and rocks lurking everywhere to trip you!

Just a quick stop and take a pic thing.

Not a lot of hiking! There’s a large tree nearby that looked very beautiful. The falls were okay. Did not see the rainbow though.

It was not a hiking trail, more a walking one. Worth the visit if you are there but nothing more. If you walk pass the look out above the Astaire, there’s a pretty impressive tree that’s worth the extra steps!

This is a lookout point. Very easy hike. It was raining when I went but it was beautiful. The water looked muddy but it had been raining!

Nice short walk. Beautiful waterfall. The best view of the waterfall is definitely from the short little trail on the bottom. If you go up the stairs, you can see the waterfall from the top, but not the greatest views. If you take the stairs up, definitely do the little loop at the top. The trees are really cool. This is my fourth visit. It is always busy with lots of buses. Restrooms available.

Easy hike and convenient to Hilo. Trees are as beautiful as the falls.

It's just a parking lot and a couple of lookouts, but the trees are absolutely beautiful and the leaves are stunning. The waterfall is nice too.

Quick stop and look at a waterfall. Bottom of falls and the river above the falls are closed areas. Popular stop for tour groups it seems.
