Fisherman’s Trail is a 9.6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Kamuela, Hawaii, Hawaii that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, trail running, and nature trips and is accessible year-round.
Great trail along the coastline. A lot of the trail is over lava rock so bring good shoes and water since there is not a lot of shade. You go through a couple of resorts along the way. We snorkeled at one beach.
Very pretty and fun, however you must be careful with loose volcanic rock
Hilton security does not let you cross the beach while construction is ongoing.
Beautiful scenic views throughout the entire walk (it’s definitely more of a walk than a hike). It follows a well defined path of lava rock along the ocean that stops periodically at small beaches. Would recommend if you’re in the area and want to see new beaches :)
Volcano rock is below you 85% of the time but the 100% ocean view makes up for it.
