Striking views of the coastline on this rocky trail. Distance of trail is a bit deceiving as it includes the entire length of the Mauna Kea and Westin beaches. Because of sand in shoes, I did not want to walk the beach lines. Wear closed towed shoes speaking of. I came across several who wore flip flops and regretted it. Trail is fully exposed to sun. Lastly, disregard the comment a reviewer made about jellyfish stings. You will not come across any jellyfish whatsoever if you stay on the path. Ridiculous!

Great short, easy hike if you like shoreline and giant houses with infinity pools. Start near sunset. Wave to the rich people on their patios.

A great easy hike for our family outing. The views were stunning of the ocean and inland. And the bonus was starting and then ending back at Hapuno beach and enjoying a swim and the Sunset.

First to Review

Really enjoyed this trail, started in Hapuna and went North. Loved the ins and outs of the coves and the feeling that a several hundred year old trail gives.
