Tinago Falls is a 1.7 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near the city of Inarajan, Guam that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round.
It was an easy hike there. Only about 20-30 mins, but we spent a lot of time at the falls. It was really nice and refreshing. Really does look like a small garden of eden. There are some areas with a lot of mud that you need to cross on the way there, so wear shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy.
Easy to follow trail. It's basically just tire tracks 95% of the way. The waterfall area is absolutely beautiful, but it was really busy. We went at 4pm on a Sunday.
This is the portion back from the Faha memorial. We continued beyond and up the hill for fantastic views. Please be respectful of the memorial.
Definitely had such fun on this short little hike. Very muddy trail and expect to get wet. Mostly flat and not much elevation. A small slope to climb down with some rope. Went here when the waterfall was strong. Truly made the experience even better. Be careful of moss on the rocks as I had a friend bottom slide down one area of the stream. She is okay btw. Also, found many litter along the path. Please take whatever litter you have and secure it on your persons to throw away after. It’s unfortunate that even though the pathway is maintained , visible signs of empty bottles and food wrappers take away from truly enjoying the nature of it.
Great moderate hike. The view getting there seeing the vast land makes me proud to call this my home. The Falls at the end was beautiful and well-maintained (si Yu'os ma'åse to the ones who take care of the place). You'll have a good time enjoying the waterfall and the little swimming areas too.
Quick and easy hike to the falls. Plan to stay for a couple hours relaxing and enjoying the cool water.
Really easy! Park by the Inarajan Middle School and follow the dirt Jeep trail all the way past a small stream. Once you go through the stream, there’s a clearing in a wooded bamboo area with a rope you climb down. Getting back up the rope area can be a little tricky if it’s been raining and or you’re baby carrying but it’s absolutely do able. The dirt Jeep trail is very exposed so sunscreen and bug spray is a must. When I went in March, they had the swing up down by the falls but when I went again last week it was gone- but the hammocks are still there. Following the map provided in this app is the easiest and most reliable if you are unsure of yourself. Great picture spot for the coast and hills.
A very fun trail. We had 3 kids between 2-4 with us. We were able to use some teamwork to get them through the ropes. Kids can do it but I would recommend having an extra adult or two for the assist.
I would rate this hike as EASY. It starts out on a dirt road, and is pretty open. Then you end up in the jungle. There is a great swimming area. Someone has gone in and put some ropes and swings! I would say this hike is kid friendly. I went with some friends that took their little ones and they loved it!
Good views. Very easy (90% of it is a dirt road). The falls at the end are refreshing and relaxing.
