Mount Jumullong Summit is a 1.9 mile out and back trail located near the city of Agat, Guam that features a great forest setting. The trail is good for all skill levels and is primarily used for hiking and nature trips. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

February 14, 2021February 5, 2021Did this as a 2-for-1 since both Lam Lam and Jumullong are literally right next to each other. It's pretty much straight uphill all the way until the crossroads (Y: left is Lam Lam and right is Jumullong). Lam Lam's was pretty overgrown was walkable make sure to look out for the pink ribbons or else you will get lost easily. The final incline for the summit for Lam Lam was straight up and somewhat dangerous if you aren't careful, you can cut yourself on the rocks going up (or down). Lam Lam gives a nice 360 view of the surrounding island but Jumullong had a better overlook. Head back down to the crossroads and its a 5-10min walk to Jumullong where it's a nice view of all the giant crosses and a better overlook with the coastline etc.

January 13, 2021Really enjoyed this hike! Not a good one if you're sensitive to heat. I wish we hadn't gone midday. This would be beautiful around sunset when it's cooler.

January 1, 2021October 14, 2020Fairly easy trail. Short steep incline in the beginning. No need previous experience. I recommend long covers over body as the sword grass is taller than the average person. Your shoes can get quite muddy. Trail is mostly narrow and some parts stay careful not to walk on the edge. I heard bugs like spiders are everywhere but they generally don’t bother you. Possibly might be in the way but not dense. Overall, if you don’t mind some bugs, dirty footwear and grassy pathways, check this hike out.

September 15, 2020The day I hiked Mt. Lam Lam was long after the upper trail had been cleared. The sawgrass was twice my height for much of that portion. Spiders were thick on everything. The last fifty feet up the rocks to the peak was a bit exciting. If you like it rough then you might like this trail. If it were cleaned out then it'd be fairly simple. There is the other named trail (Jumullong Manglo) that shares the same starting point and incline which splits near the top. There are several large crosses there. That path had been cleaned and was kept well. The view from either peak is basically the same.

January 20, 2020Not sure if I would classify this hike as “easy”...when I think easy I’m thinking that I can bring my 50 y/o mother in law and thankfully I didn’t this time because she would not have made it. There are some pretty steep parts, after a little rain, things get slippery but overall this is a great hike. Beautiful views and greenery.
December 2, 2019went to the other mountain first (where the crosses are). Then decided to try to go on an adventure and go up the actual summit of mount lam lam despite reading the other reviews. Was pretty hard to find the path. The app helps alot. However when I was a quarter away I smelled the scent of wild pigs. I ignored it and continued on. when I got really close to the summit, I heard the pigs. probably making noise to alert me that they are there. I'm not a hunter and wasn't planning to experiment at that moment. so I chose to turn around. Like what others said, not worth the time. Oh plus it definitely is not a hike for those who have a phobia for spiders. There are ALOT of them as you get closer to the summit.
November 10, 2019Did a sunset hike last night. Conditions were good and felt safe coming back down. Great views at the top!
