This is a great little trail that takes you down a beach to an old Japanese Artilery cannon, then around the mountain to another beach that overlooks Two Lovers Point.
Bridges out. And the rest of the walkway is pretty neglected. It’s kind of nice. The trail/pass pretty much just comes to an end and you turn around. It does supply a different view to 2 lovers point
This hike is beautiful and peaceful. Usually the hike is deserted. You end the hike on a pristine beach. The water is not ideal for swimming unless you navigate past the break into deeper water. Tons of blue starfish and sea cucumbers to see. Often times sea glass can be found here as well. This is a quiet and peaceful hike. #militarywild

The beach goes on for at least another mile but I stopped so I could snorkel. The beach bar has good food and drinks but it’s a little expensive. The views can’t be beat though. Amazing area!
