Great hike. Spiders were no worse than any other Guam trail. Trail is easy until you reach the cliff descent then I may call it moderate. At the opening to the cliffside, the views are breathtaking. A big winter swell had the waves crashing on the rock faces which is a spectacular sight but definitely a no-go for exploring the tide pools. The ascent on the cliff portion is strenuous if you're out of shape but just take your time (it's not technical). Bring water and stay hydrated if you're out there with the sun overhead. It was overcast when i went and i never even took a sip of my water. Bring bug spray if you plan on hanging around in the woods portion, mosquitoes will get you if you stop moving.

From the trailhead to the overlook is easy. There are definitely a lot of spiders but just let the tallest person on the hike go first and you should be good. If you decide to go from the overlook to the water, the hike becomes much more difficult. From the overlook you climb down some coral rock with the aid of a towing strap someone tied there. Doable with a toddler in a hiking pack and a small dog to carry down, just take your time. The rest of the hike is all downhill with loose coral rock; can be a little unstable in places. When you hit the bottom there is a pink marker on a tree to help you find the way back if you go down to the water. It’s beautiful and a good place to explore-but there is little exposure from the sun and we got hot quick here. The rock became pretty hard for our dog as well, so I don’t know how much I’d recommend this part of the hike with littles or dogs. Maybe a better one to come back and do (this part) when they’re left at home. The hike back up kicked my butt, but worth it trip all the same. Just bring bug spray, lots of water, hat, and some snacks.

Hiked out to the overlook with my dog today! Beautiful trail and very easy if you just go to where it opens up to the ocean view! I will go back soon to hike all the way down without my doggy!

The recording I did was more kid friendly. It gets a little more challenging past the view point. Older kids would do better past that point as there is more of a scramble down to the cliff.

Nice trail. In great condition today. Perfect weather. Thought I could run all the way up and down but it’s too rocky for my feet. Finished in about an hour making it all the way to the water. Keep track of the opening when you make your way at the bottom. I had a hard time finding the trail back up. The family that lives up the road were very kind and said they usually look out at the cars to make sure no one breaks in.

CLOSED VIA GIANT SPIDER IN THE PATH.... Great for the five minutes we actually went in. Wouldn't have been too bad if it werent for the giant banana spiders lining, not only both sides of the path, but also hanging over us and blocking the entire width of it not even five minutes into the walk. if I had been in front and not my husband I would've walked right into them! I'm sure the area is beautiful under all that webbing but even pulling out of the parking area, they were EVERYWHERE! How long has it been since someone had tracked that path!

Well worth the ocean view and the jungle. Take a stick or hiking pole because you may see wild pigs. They ran off from me. The trail is in great shape for a jungle trail and dropping elevation fairly quick.

Beautiful hike to the coastline the second part of the hike has a lot of exposure so plenty of water and sun block are recommended. Bring gloves if you want to climb around the limestone.

Beautiful coast line and well maintained trail. Some steep, rocky areas. Plenty of shade. We finished in 1.5 hours.
